It is one of the nicest beaches of the southwest coastline.
“Kampos” beach is located next to Marathokampos bay, just before “Votsalakia” beach and 46 km southwest of the city of Samos. Locals don’t separate the two beaches and name both of them “Votsalakia”. It is huge and extended (about 3 km long), covered with sand and pebbles.
It has normal depth, clear waters, and is well-protected within Marathokampos bay, in the southwest coastline of the island, near the tourist resort of Ormos Marathokampos. Residence, near the beach and in the surrounding area, is available, while anyone, after swimming, can enjoy lunch in one of the nearby taverns or coffee and cold beverages in the coffee-shops nearby the sea.
The beach is rather well-organized and ideal for swimming and sunbathing. It is indeed a very beautiful beach with wonderful waters far away from the capital.
