Before Agios Konstantinos village, in North Samos, a road leads to Manolates village. Please be careful and drive slowly, not because you are at risk, but because you have to see and enjoy the amazing landscape!
As the name states, the area is full of age-old plane-trees (“Plane tree” = “Platanos” in Greek), while on the left-hand side of the road, a river, starting from Abelos village, descends. You have to make several stops, in order to feel (literally) the nature of the river bank, while you can stop and breath some fresh air, have a soft drink or drink a coffee in the two nearby coffee-shops (called “Palataki” and “Aidonia”). Then you can continue driving towards Manolates, a beautiful and picturesque village. Your cameras should be “armed”!
